Drawing on over 25 years experience in the construction industry, Darren has an intimate grasp of the issues confronting building and construction industry participants. Darren’s ability to quickly formulate advice that is both practical and commercial is universally appreciated by his clients. As is his hands-on style and personal attention to each case.
Darren’s extensive legal experience includes advice on risk management and compliance issues, drafting and negotiating contracts, special conditions and special purpose contracts.
He also regularly manages disputes, debt recovery and insurance claims, advocating in both the courts and VCAT and representing clients in mediation and arbitration.
Darren represents builders, developers, sub-contractors, businesses and property owners.
Darren is on the committee of the Building Dispute Practitioners Society and is a member of VCAT’s Domestic Building List Users Group.
